Delta Patient Letter
Dear Valued Patients:
We are so grateful to have you as our patient, many of you for a very long time! We are devoted to providing excellent care to all of our patients and constantly review our systems and services in order to maintain the highest level of treatment and customer service. Cohasset Dental has been a part of the Delta Dental provider network since 2003 when we opened our doors. Dr. Thomas has been a Delta Dental provider for over 32 years, and Dr. Chenette for over 22 years. Recent and ongoing changes Delta Dental imposed has forced us, like many Massachusetts dentist, to re-evaluate the affordability of remaining in their network. We have determined that the optimal care our patients deserve cannot include shortened appointments and use of cheap laboratories and materials.
COHASSET DENTAL WILL NO LONGER PARTICIPATE IN THE DELTA DENTAL NETWORK AS OF OCTOBER 8, 2021
We have assembled a fantastic team and utilize the highest level of technology in Dentistry today. Our priority is the health and well-being of all of our patients and we are unwilling to compromise the quality of dental care we provide to you and your family.
We would very much like to maintain our relationship with YOU, despite this change, and are happy to continue to handle claim submissions on your behalf. If allowed, we will accept assignment of benefits so that you will only pay the portion your benefit plan does not cover. Depending on your specific plan (a function of what your employer has negotiated and purchased) and because there will be no contracted adjustments, our Delta patients will see an increase in out-of-pocket responsibility for care.
